  • Beskrivelse: An easily frightened provincial, Markos Tremoulas, is in love with the village president’s daughter, Myrto, and so he comes to Athens to collect a loan, which had been approved, to build a hotel complex on the village beach. The red tape infuriates him, and, leaving the office of the director of the Greek National Tourist Organization, he declares that he will blow it all up. Later, when a bomb goes off in the director’s office, they all believe him to be the perpetrator. After the explosion of a second bomb at a hotel, the police arrest him, believing him to be the wanted terrorist Marco di Marco. The latter actually runs a modeling school as a front and manages to free Markos in order to make him a partner. However, the clever Markos figures out the trap and so he corners him in turn and hands him over to the police. His incomparable bravery inspires admiration and cancels any objections Myrtos’ father had to her marrying Markos, and so he accepts him as a son-in-law.
